ASI, Bisa Menghindarkan Ibu dan Bayi dari Kanker

dr Utami menjelaskan mengapa ASI dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan merupakan standar emas makanan bayi. "Karena ada yang namanya hubungan antara pikiran dan imunitas tubuh. Menyusui dan memberikan perahan susu itu beda ya, menyusui itu keuntungannya ada tiga, hubungan antara ibu dan bayi, the unique psyhobiology of lactation state, DNA biology of human milk. Nah kalau pakai ASI perah, hanya dapat biology of human milk-nya," jelas dr Utami.
Ia juga mengatakan apabila ibu dan anak berada di satu rumah ada baiknya untuk tidak memberikan ASI perah atau bahka susu formula. Karena menurutnya, ASI selain memberikan anti-bakteri juga memberikan anti-viral yang dapat mencegah kanker dan tumor.
"Ibu-ibu yang menyusui dua tahun atau lebih akan terhindar dari kanker payudara, kanker rahim, kanker indung telur. Ini benar, saya tidak memberi anak-anak saya ASI eksklusif akhirnya sekarang kanker. Maka dari itu saya selalu keras untuk tetap memberikan ASI, agar tidak seperti saya," ujarnya.
